A very warm welcome awaits you at Logis de Lussais, set in the centre of the Poitou Charentes region of South West France & Atlantic coast between the valleys of the Loire and Dordogne.
A traditional Charentaise Logis set in the beautiful countryside surrounding the Boutonne valley, close to local amenities in the very popular market town of Chef Boutonne and within easy reach of the beaches along the Atlantic coast.
Originally built as a Manor house with private vineyard in the Mid 18th Century, this imposing Logis later became a working farm and more recently restored to provide a detached Owners farmhouse and four separate quality self catering holiday Gites.
Approached through grand entrance gates along a private avenue lined with Chestnut trees, the Owners house and four holiday Gites overlook the picturesque circular courtyard with fountain and fishpond, all set in two acres of landscaped gardens with heated swimming pools, racquet's sports and games room.

About Chef Boutonne
A simple rural market town in the centre of the Poitou-Charentes, with surrounding countryside of woodlands and sunflowers with an abundance of wildlife. The perfect base to explore a region famous for its cognac, pineau, oysters, mussles and goats cheeses and within easy reach of riverside locations for canoeing and kayaking, the sandy beaches at La Rochelle and Royan and the lovely islands of Oleron, Aix and Re, some of which are suitable for surfing and water sports.
The Gites
There are four Gites to choose from sleeping from 4 – 8 guests. Each Gite is fully equipped with all modern conveniences for a self catering holiday, have their own private gardens and share a 10 x 5m & 8 x 4m heated swimming pools in south facing communal gardens with raquet sports and a common games room. Discount Bookings
Discount prices are offered for long term rentals in off peak periods, Oct – inc March. To enquire please use the booking form, email or by phone for a quote. All prices now include the cost towards cleaning and the tourist tax previously detailed in the terms and conditions
